Why a report

Opaque moderation destroys trust. We want everyone to be able to see how the rules are applied on Castalio.

What each report will include

• The number of reports received and handled, by type (profile, media, message, casting, reference).
• Sanctions applied: warnings, content removals, suspensions, bans.
• Report handling times.
• Appeals received and the share of decisions changed on appeal.
• Reference disputes and their outcome.
• Copyright takedown requests and counter-notices.
• Law enforcement requests received, by type and country, and the share we complied with, fully or partly, or challenged.
• Reports of illegal content sent to the competent authorities.
• Requests to access, correct or erase data, and the response time.

Kept up to date

The figures shown further down this page are recalculated on every visit, directly from our own records (reports, sanctions, appeals, DMCA, law enforcement requests, data requests). These are aggregate totals only: no personal data appears in them.
