Content and Moderation Policy

What is allowed

Fashion, portrait, commercial, editorial, beauty, boudoir, lingerie, art nude and implied nude, within the limits of suggestive and artistic work.

What is not allowed

• Any sexually explicit content. Castalio hosts none.
• Any content involving minors.
• Violence, hate speech.
• Content published without the consent of the people shown.
• Other people's photos published without the right to do so.
• Impersonation and scams.
• Solicitation of sexual services.

Where artistic ends

• Art nude focuses on form, light, composition and creative intent.
• No sexual acts, real or simulated, and no pornographic staging.
• Media in sensitive categories must be tagged as such, so everyone can choose what they see.

Work preferences and sensitive categories

You can declare the types of work you accept; clients filter their searches by these preferences.

Sensitive categories (boudoir, lingerie, art nude) require age verification and a private check confirming you are the account holder. Your consent is recorded and timestamped for each category.

You never have to publish such images. You can provide examples visible only to people you authorise, or to no one. You can switch a category off at any time, without giving a reason, with immediate effect.

Publishing rules

• Hold the rights or permission for every piece of media you publish.
• Credit collaborators when they are known.
• Tag your media honestly; misleading tags are removed.

Zero tolerance: content involving minors

Every image and video is checked at upload against databases of fingerprints of known illegal content.

• Immediate blocking and quarantine of the media.
• Automatic account suspension, followed by a permanent ban, without appeal.
• Mandatory reporting to the competent authorities, including NCMEC in the United States and its equivalents elsewhere.
• Evidence is preserved despite any account deletion request.
• Every detection and every report is recorded in a tamper-proof log.

Reporting content

A report button is available on every profile, media item, message, casting and reference. You can follow the status of your report. For emergencies, write to [email protected].

Sanction ladder

The exact duration takes into account severity, your history, and, for stolen content, repeat offences (see our DMCA policy).

• Warning: a first reminder of the rules, with no other consequence.
• Content hidden or correction required: the media item is removed, or must be corrected (tag, description) to stay online.
• Temporary suspension: 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days or 30 days, depending on severity and your history.
• Permanent ban: decided by a senior moderator or above.
• Content involving a minor or other illegal content: immediate ban, with no appeal, decided by a super-admin (see Zero tolerance).

Transparent moderation

• Every decision comes with a specific reason, sent to the member.
• Sanction durations are published above.
• You can appeal; appeals are reviewed by someone other than the person who decided.
• Approval criteria are the same for every moderator.
• Reports handled and sanctions applied appear in our transparency report.
