October photo challenge: “Autumn Light”

Every month, one theme and one winning photo. The challenge is free and open to photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists and the whole team of a shoot, anywhere in the world.

How to enter

Create your free account on castalio.net (if you haven’t already).
Post one photo on the theme “Autumn Light” in your Castalio portfolio.
Email us at defi@castalio.net with the link to your profile and the title of the photo.
Optional: share it on Instagram and tag @castalio.app.

Deadline: October 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (Montreal time). One photo per person.

Prize

3 months of Castalio VIP (worth US$36). If you’re already VIP, the 3 months are added at the end of your current period.
A feature of your work on Instagram, Threads and Pinterest, with your name and a link to your profile.

How the winner is chosen

This is a contest of skill, not a random draw. The Castalio team picks the winning photo on three criteria: fit with the theme, creativity and image quality. The result is announced by November 7, 2026, first by email to the winner, then on our social media.

Rules

Open to people aged 18 and over who are Castalio members (free sign-up). No purchase necessary.
You must have created the photo or taken part in creating it (photographer, model, makeup, styling…), with the consent of everyone in the photo, all adults. See our release template.
Content suitable for all audiences, following the site’s rules.
You keep all rights to your photo. By entering, you allow Castalio to show the winning photo on its website and social media, with your name. Other entries are only shown with your permission.
Your email address is used only for the challenge. Organiser: Castalio, castalio.net.

Is the challenge really free?

Yes. Joining Castalio is free and no purchase is required to enter or to win.

I’m a model or a makeup artist. Can I enter?

Yes. Anyone who took part in creating the photo can enter it, with the agreement of the rest of the team.

Can I enter from another country?

Yes, the challenge is open worldwide.
